The current Mizzou Men's Soccer Club was formally established in the Spring of 2004, though several Mizzou club soccer teams have come and gone during the history of the University.  In our short history we have quickly gained attention within the Mizzou community as well as the larger community of Columbia for our athletic accomplishments and involvement in city and campus events.
 
As Mizzou does not currently have a men's soccer program, we are fulfilling a large need for men's soccer at Mizzou.  In our first two years of formal competition, the Mizzou Men's Soccer Club team has proven its potential for success.  Here are some of our achievements:

 

     * Back-to-back Mid-American Collegiate Soccer League Champions (qualifier for Regionals)

 

      * Back-to-back Region IV North Regional Champions (qualifier for Nationals)

 

      * Back-to-back top 16 finishes at the NIRSA National Championships

 

      * 1st place overall ranking in the Midwest Region (Collegiate Club Soccer Association)

 

      * 14-3-1 record for 2005 fall season, 14-1-2 for 2006 fall season

 

      * Back-to-back 1st place finishes at the Washington University Spring Invitational


      * Five consecutive 1st places finishes in the Missouri Athletic Center's premier division indoor soccer league

The Mizzou Men's Soccer Club is sanctioned through the University under the Mizzou Club Sports Federation in partnership with MizzouRec Services and the Organization Resource Group.  Our purpose is to provide students at Mizzou with an opportunity to play intercollegiate soccer at a high level in a competitive environment.  Furthermore, we strive to promote an attitude of hard work, leadership, and a strong team mentality.
